ATV Historical Color Tour

Rules, Regulations &
Good, Strong Hints


1.
All participants must sign a waiver.

2.
Helmets and eye ware are encouraged.

3.
Participants must stay on designated trails and roads... Tread Lightly!

4.
Purchasing of the guide book is not required, but is encouraged for all participants.

5.
Participants must sign up for each day's ride.
We can not exceed 50 riders per route per day.

6.
Removal of artifacts is strictly prohibited.

7.
Rainwear and/or cold weather gear should be brought along.
It is known to rain out here occasionally!

8.
Fishing is permitted along the routes.
License required for those over 15. The Guide Book will list places and tips.

9. All unlicensed OHVs must have a Colorado OHV Permit. These cost $25.25 and out of state permits are available Tuesday night and Wednesday morning of the Tour. For online and other Permit info see the FAQ section.
10. Motorcycles may accompany friends and family on ATVs but must stay with them.
11. Riding double is permitted with people or pets.
12. UTVs (side by sides) are allowed. They can go on about 95% of the routes. There are some <50” trails that are closed to most side by sides, but they are only on a couple of the routes. RZRs can go on all routes, but may have trouble at Fat Man Squeeze on route #6029, 4 Mile Area.  Jeeps and SUVs are not allowed on the Tour.
